Women in Music 2022
Women in Music 2022 looks forward to welcoming you to for an interactive day celebrating women in music.
The day features a diverse line-up of speakers including music agent Catherine Le Bris, video and sound artist Myriam Boucher, cultural sociologist Dr Monique Charles, production manager and sound engineer Ema Gazdík.
Musical performances from classical guitarist Eleanor Kelly, the University of Liverpool Chamber Choir, and more.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, join in with discussions, and network throughout the day. The programme begins at 11.30am and finishes at 5.30pm.
11.30am – Doors open
11.45am – Networking and University Chamber Choir performance in the atrium
12.20pm – Welcome in the Auditorium
12.30pm – Speaker Session 1: chaired by Beth Hunt with speakers Ema Gazdík and Myriam Boucher
1.30pm – Tung performance from guitarist Eleanor Kelly
2.00pm – Break
2.15pm – Speaker Session 2: chaired by Yiyi Wang with speakers Catherine Le Bris and Monique Charles
3.15pm – Break – networking opportunity in the atrium/cafe
3.45pm – Open discussion: chaired by Sarah Price and Ruth Minton with all speakers
4.30pm – Closing remarks
4.35pm – Performance by University band 'Better Days' in the Tung
5.00pm – Atrium performance by University band 'Divinus' and networking opportunity (to end).
The café will be open all day with several networking opportunities. Audience questions and participation are welcome in all sessions.
