Wolcome Yole!
Part of the Yoko Ono Lennon Lunchtime Concert Series
Celebrating the richness and versatility of young voices, this joint concert offers a wonderful opportunity to hear some of the best young choral talent in the city.
The Liverpool Cathedral Girls’ Choir was formed in 2004 and has thrived during its first 20 years, now at full complement, with more than 24 girls aged 10 to 16. In recent years they have toured the Isle of Man, Belgium, and Cologne. The choir first performed Britten’s Ceremony of Carols in December 2024 and loved the work, so are excited to be performing it again this year!
University of Liverpool Chamber Choir rounds off the concert with a selection of beautifully-crafted pieces from the breadth of the choral canon.
The Tung Auditorium Lunchtime Concert Series is supported by Yoko Ono Lennon via Spirit Foundations.
