A contemporary comic opera presented in surround-sound, with the voices of politicians, tramps, call-centre operatives, talent contest hosts, and ‘the Oracle’ (courtesy of the department of artificial wisdom).
Inspired by Bosch’s famous painting, Trevor Wishart’s multichannel audio work explores our contemporary situation, traversing an audio-maze of human predicaments.
A question and answer session will follow the performance.
This concert will last approximately 2 hours.
Part of Musical Futures, an annual series of concerts and events that explore the future of music-making, digital creativity, and new ways to perform, experience and interact with music.
