The University of Liverpool’s Department of Music, in partnership with Resonate, are pleased to present a lunchtime concert exploring piano repertoire of the 19th Century.
Lecturer in Classical Performance, Dr Ruth Minton, will perform pieces drawn from areas of study in A-level music courses, including Chopin’s Ballade No. 2 in F major.

Lecture recital and workshops

The concert will be followed by a lecture recital and workshops of A-level areas of study to spotlight analysis, music history, and performance. This workshop is free and open to all.

This concert will last approximately 50 minutes.This concert is not likely to be suitable for children under 5 due to the acoustics in the auditorium. Children under 10 are not permitted on balcony seats. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
