As the festive season approaches, join singers from the University of Liverpool Music Department for a selection of vocal favourites from oratorio, opera, musical theatre, and art song, including music by Bach, Mozart, Puccini, Wildhorn, and Strozzi, together with traditional folk and Welsh songs.

Singers are from the MMus (Master of Music Performance) and Undergraduate programmes and present some of their solo repertoire in this lunchtime concert as well as coming together to perform songs from China and in celebration of Christmas.

Programme includes:

Bach 'Ich will dir mein Herze schenken' from St. Matthew Passion performed by Yan Liu (mezzo-soprano)
Mozart 'Giunse alfin il momento' from The Marriage of Figaro performed by Jialing Yang (soprano)
Puccini 'Signore ascolta' from Turandot performed by Ruoxi Wang (soprano)
Qiufeng Zheng I love you, China performed by Jialing Yang, Ruoxi Wang and Yan Liu
Frank Wildhorn 'In His Eyes' from Jekyll and Hyde performed by Emily Flynn
Clara Schumann Ich Stand in Dunklen Träumen performed by Amelia Orton-Jones
