The penultimate lunchtime concert of the academic year sees a celebration of the University of Liverpool Music Department as students perform alongside members of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Classical Performance students have worked in The Tung Auditorium throughout the academic year, engaging in performance classes and performance opportunities, including with the department’s ensemble-in-residence, the Solem Quartet, and with players of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Performers for the lunchtime concert will be drawn from across the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as the academic year draws to a close join us for a diverse programme of music that celebrates student achievement.

If you book tickets for a free lunchtime concert and are subsequently unable to attend, please email [email protected] to return your tickets and allow someone else to go in your place.

Access seats are available to visitors with additional access requirements such as wheelchair users. Sign-up to the access scheme to book these seats.

This performance is not likely to be suitable for children under 5 due to the acoustics in the auditorium. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Under-10’s are not permitted to sit on the balconies.

No food or drink other than bottled water is permitted in The Tung Auditorium.

This concert will last approximately 50 minutes.
