A concert showcasing the best local talent in the field of contemporary classical music. Sforzando presents a rare opportunity to sample live music from emerging artists in the genre while experiencing the chance to get to know the people behind the music, as composers share the stories that made them who they are as both people and musicians.

Accompanied throughout the night by local ensemble Buzzcut Strings, the audience will be transported through the varying soundscapes of modern classical music, from emotional melodies and evocative avant-garde to popular-classical blends from some of the most exciting names in new music.

This performance is not likely to be suitable for children under 5 due to the acoustics in the auditorium. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Under-10’s are not permitted to sit on the balconies.

Food and hot drinks are not permitted in The Tung Auditorium.
