Rushworth Young Composers Showcase
Liverpool Philharmonic are delighted to present a lunchtime concert of works written by alumni of the Rushworth Young Composers scheme. Through the scheme, young composers and Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company members aged 14 to 18 receive mentorship to develop their creative voice and composing skills, writing music to be performed by their peers.
Today, innovative works composed by alumni of the scheme are brought back to the stage, performed by an ensemble of musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
