Riot Ensemble
Riot Ensemble returns to the Tung Auditorium to perform new works composed for them by University of Liverpool’s music department staff and PhD students.
The pieces are a product of a year-long collaborative effort in which individual musicians worked with composers to explore and refine their musical aims and approaches. This concert will consist entirely of premieres, featuring works by music department staff members Jenn Kirby and Paul Turowski as well as PhD students Matt Burke, Lola de la Mata, and Stephen Banks.
