Pixels Ensemble
Pixels Ensemble is a versatile group of chamber music players with a shared interest in performing the finest repertoire, from the classical period to the present day.
Its players are all established soloists, chamber musicians, recording artists, orchestra principals and explorers of contemporary music. Today’s programme pairs Mozart’s own chamber arrangement of his piano concerto in E flat with Elgar’s substantial piano quintet, described by its composer as running "gigantically and in a large mood".
Part of the Lunchtime Concert Series.
