Metamorphosis in humans and music: melodies to AI, composition to improvisations, music to the world of sound and listening, featuring KIPPERS, formed by Nick Branton to explore the world of written melodies combined with free improvisation. Following the example set by soprano saxophone pioneer, Steve Lacy, the pieces have a direct influence from poetry.
Saxophonist Mark Hanslip will play an immersive solo set featuring effects hand-coded in SuperCollider software. Phil Morton will deliver a sonic gaze.
