MAPFEST (Musical Attack-Against Poverty) presents a fundraising show with a brilliant variety of music, dance, comedy, fashion and more.
MAPFEST “Embraces emerging, differently able artists and fully established musical artists. At the same time, giving room to equality, diversity, recognition, inclusion and fairness”.
This event will be raising funds for three Liverpool charities: Zoe's Place, The Whitechapel Centre and An Hour For Others.
Performers will include Daisy Gill, Afrika Fuentes, Fraya Orfeome, and the Wavertree Choir.
The extravaganza will feature a fashion show with four leading Liverpool-based fashion houses Zenobia Ethical, Seven Streets, Janice Charles and Dionne Dacosta. There will also be dance performances from MD Productions and Afro Dance Academy, and entertainment from comedian Gary Skyner.
The event aims to harness the power of music and performing arts in order to raise awareness for charities, sparking positive transformations in our communities.

Daisy Gill Singer
Daisy is a highly talented musical artist who's passionate about using her music talent to support the development of humanity and mankind. She was recently a contestant on the Voice 2023 under the mentorship of Tom Jones.
Afrika Fuentes Singer
Afrika Fuentes is a soulful singer and songwriter who is also an accomplished pianist and charismatic performer.
Having won the ‘BBC New Talent Award’ for new songwriters in 2008 Afrika begun her songwriting career under the mentorship of Cathy Dennis, hit songwriter for artists like Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue. In 2012 Afrika signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV. Currently she writes and produces music for pop artists worldwide, collaborating with Grammy winning producers like Rayito (Shakira).
Afrika has written for pop and Latin artists such as Sweet California, BTS, Twice, Red Velvet, Super Junior. She has co-written the song “Ay Dios Mio” by Sweet California, which peaked at number one in the Spanish album charts in 2017 with their album “3”.
Afrika plays a mix of pop, soul and R&B, performing across Europe, opening for legendary soul bands such as The Stylistics.
The Wavertree Choir
Wavertree Community Gospel Choir started in February 2015 and is led by local vocal coach and MD Hayli Kincade. The choir includes people from all different backgrounds, ages and faiths.
Fraya Ofoeme, Positive Impact
Fraya Is an aspiring artist from Liverpool. She has been singing since she was 4 it’s her passion and she is determined to make it her future. She also loves to stay connected and get involved in various events in Liverpool. She is currently working on her own material and is excited to share her talents with the world.

H-MAN performs an amazing, catchy and captivating instrumental solo drumming style.
Gary Skyner Comedian
Gary Skyner is a British comedian who has been performing on the stand-up circuit for over 25 years. He has grown in prominence to become one of Merseyside's favourite comics and a star on the comedy scene. Gary was the second person in the UK to be born with limb deformities due to the thalidomide drug.
Kulturess
Performing their Liverpool debut, Kulturess is the new group made up of artists Tabitha Jade and Eliza Mai, a mind-bending alternative duo.
An Afro Dance organisation teaching Afro House/Fusion who work for free and a handful of instructors/dancers.
Their main drive is making people happy and being a safe space for anyone to come and learn the unique style of Afro Dance.
MD Productions Dance Company
MD Productions are a dance group from Liverpool who have auditioned for, and reached the Semi-Finals of Britain's Got Talent on three different occasions.
Seven Streets Studio is a fashion designer boutique located on Smithdown Road supporting the work of local fashion designers. From lounge wear to the races, wedding guest outfits to evening wear. They are proud to support the work of independent brands and offer a curated selection of collections from over 20 designers.
Janice Charles, House Of Charles Fashion
Janice's love of fashion and glamour stems from old Hollywood, watching movies of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and many other stars of that time. The 1940s-50s is her favourite era.
BASAL-T4B Fashion
BASAL-T4B is a social brand that uses cross culture design, with most materials being African prints and materials which are used to produce both African and European wears. The managing director of T4B, Tayamika Hughes, designs most of the products’ brand. ‘BASAL’ stands for ‘Buy and Save a Life’, and 'T4B' stands for Tayamika-4-BASAL. A certain percentage of the profits are returned back into the community towards good causes that Mapfest supports such as homelessness and poverty.

Dionne DaCosta, Bohemian Nova Fashion
