Join Liverpool Welsh Choral as they celebrate 125 years of the choir’s contribution to music in the city.
This special anniversary concert features William Walton’s spectacular 'Coronation Te Deum', Constant Lambert’s jazzy and colourful Rio Grande, and an eclectic mix of great music by Karl Jenkins and Gerald Finzi.
The concert also includes a new work by Keith Orrell, specifically commissioned for this occasion, linked to the theme of rivers, concluding with a resplendent Liverpudlian vision of the River Mersey.
All this, plus a full orchestra (Celtic Sinfonia), international pianist Martin Roscoe, Liverpool-born opera superstar Kathryn Rudge and top organist Stephen Hargreaves.
An evening not to be missed!
