International violinist Keith Pascoe returns to his hometown to perform Tchaikovsky’s ever popular Violin Concerto. Before this we will hear the delightful overture to JC Bach’s opera Lucio Silla. The 19-year-old Schubert’s 'Tragic' symphony, so named by the composer, closes proceedings. Most tragic was that it didn’t receive its premiere until 20 years after Schubert’s death!
