To mark the opening of the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra’s 75th Anniversary season the orchestra will present a programme covering the four cornerstones of its illustrious history.

These are: Performing the core repertoire of the classical and early Romantic period (Beethoven’s iconic Pastoral Symphony); showcasing lesser known classical works that deserve to be better known (19th century composer Emilie Mayer’s Second Overture); introducing contemporary/new works (our own chief conductor Robin Wallington’s Gaia); plus providing a platform for the best young musicians (James Heathcote in Schumann’s mercurial Cello Concerto).

This will be a very special concert indeed!
