Hejira - Celebrating Joni Mitchell is a formidable, highly successful seven-piece touring band, set up in 2023 to celebrate the greatest songs of Joni Mitchell.

In particular, the band performs the masterpiece works that Mitchell captured on her albums Court and Spark through to Wild Things Run Fast. Expect to hear such classics as ‘Amelia’, ‘Help Me’, ‘Hejira’, ‘Song For Sharon’, ‘Don’t Interrupt the Sorrow’, ‘Free Man In Paris’, ‘Coyote’, ‘Hissing of Summer Lawns’ and many more.

Hejira comprises seven world-class musicians whose primary concern is to serve the music. Within three years, they have clocked up over 130 shows, including many prestigious venues and festivals, alongside their debut tour in America.

Hejira have produced several high-quality videos which have now been viewed approximately 1.5 million times! Their rendition of ‘Help Me’ was cited by the internationally renowned critic and musicologist Ted Gioia as one of his "favourite videos on YouTube".

This performance is not likely to be suitable for children under 5 due to the acoustics in the auditorium. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Under-10’s are not permitted to sit on the balconies.

Food and hot drinks cannot be taken into The Tung Auditorium.
