Hayao Miyazaki's Dreams by Mystery Ensemble
Miyazaki Dreams is a concert dedicated to the films of renowned Japanese director and Academy Award winner Hayao Miyazaki. Mystery Ensemble presents music from his animated films, as well as compositions inspired by his work.
The programme includes well-known pieces by composer Joe Hisaishi from My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, and other films. It also features works by other composers influenced by Miyazaki’s films.
The music introduces audiences to the worlds of Miyazaki’s stories, featuring memorable characters, heroines, and elements inspired by Japanese folklore.

This performance is not likely to be suitable for children under 6 due to the acoustics in the auditorium. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Under-10’s are not permitted to sit on the balconies.
Food and hot drinks are not permitted in The Tung Auditorium.
The Fröhlich Café Bar is open for drinks 90 minutes prior to the start of each performance.
