Flautist Helen Wilson and pianist Benjamin Powell present flute and piano works by Latin American composers.

Much of the music they will be performing Helen discovered after playing orchestral compositions by the same composers as part of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s season programme. She decided to research what else they had written and discovered major works for flute. She says it was “a joy to learn, record and perform this repertoire which is full of character, colour, and excitement”.
