Elizabeth McNulty presents a recital of music for harp, showcasing the breadth and range of the instrument. Taking centre stage with Elizabeth will be the Department of Music’s beautiful Salvi Aurora 47 string concert harp, which is now resident at The Tung Auditorium for student practice, teaching and performance.

Elizabeth McNulty is principal harp for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, with whom she also performs as soloist. She regularly performs chamber music and has freelanced with the Philharmonia, the Royal Northern Sinfonia, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Elizabeth enjoys coaching and mentoring harp students, giving occasional classes at the Royal Northern College of Music and the National Youth Orchestra, and is also harp teacher at the University of Liverpool.

Access seats are available to visitors with additional access requirements such as wheelchair users. Sign-up to the access scheme to book these seats.

This performance is not likely to be suitable for children under 5 due to the acoustics in the auditorium. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Under-10’s are not permitted to sit on the balconies.

No food or drink other than bottled water is permitted in The Tung Auditorium.

This concert will last approximately 50 minutes.
