The University of Liverpool’s Music Department offers the study of an incredibly wide range of musical genres, with students performing music from renaissance polyphony to electronica.

This concert will showcase some of the very best of these student performances, displaying the talents of the next generation of musical artists.

Our 2025 showcase is an eclectic mix, including alt-rockers Fire Exit, a clarinet sonata from Jess Hughes and Ruth Minton, the left-field dance pop of Sunda Blue, the UoL Chamber Choir and lots more. You can see the full programme on this page.

The tickets are priced on a Pay What You Feel basis, with £2 tickets available for students.

Access seats are available to visitors with additional access requirements such as wheelchair users. Sign-up to the access scheme to book these seats.

This performance is not likely to be suitable for children under 5 due to the acoustics in the auditorium. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Under-10’s are not permitted to sit on the balconies.

No food or hot drinks allowed in The Tung Auditorium.

The Fröhlich Café Bar is open for drinks 90 minutes prior to the start of each performance and during the interval. We recommend pre-ordering your interval drinks before the performance starts.
