Liverpudlian’s virtuoso pianist Brad Kella announces an intimate Christmas hometown show at The Tung Auditorium, Liverpool, on Saturday 6 December 2025. The show follows on from a successful UK tour this year including sold out performances at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall and London’s Purcell Room.

When Brad Kella won Channel 4’s The Piano, the nationally televised talent show that captured the hearts of millions, he knew his life was about to change. And it has, in ways he never imagined. From being homeless and playing street pianos just to get by, Brad is now performing his own music in some of the world’s most iconic concert halls. “It’s the best feeling in the world,” he says from his home in Liverpool, where he lives with his partner and two young children. “If I could bottle that feeling and sell it, I’d be a billionaire.”

Since being crowned winner by superstar pianists Lang Lang and Mika, Brad has quickly become one of classical music’s most compelling and inspiring new voices. He signed to the independent label Modern Sky, appeared at Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall, and headlined a sold-out hometown show at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall, a night he describes as his own “classical version of Anfield.”

2025 has been Brad’s biggest year yet. His debut album Phoebe’s Melody shot to No. 1 on the classical charts, he supported Gary Barlow on tour, completed his own successful UK tour, and was named an ambassador for the prestigious Lang Lang Foundation, a role that reflects both his talent and commitment to inspiring the next generation of musicians.

Despite the whirlwind, Brad remains grounded. “I always tell the audience I’m just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dreams came true,” he says. “The crowd always gets behind me, especially in Liverpool. There’s nothing like a Scouse homecoming.”
