For their Spring Concert this year Allerton Brass will be featuring music drawn from, or which has been influenced by, many different styles and cultures from around the world.

The concert’s centre piece is Peter Graham’s Suite Windows of the World which contains musical references to Latin America, Japan, Africa, N America and Scotland and also provides solo opportunities for a number of the band’s principal players.

In addition, the programme includes works by Philip Sparke, Pascual Marquina, Etienne Crausaz and Frode Alneas (among others) and will “visit” Scandinavia, the Balkans, Europe and of course all the Countries of the UK.

There really is something here for everyone in this eclectic and exciting programme - a musical treat for all tastes and ages.
